As someone who trained to be a chef while in my early 20’s, I have long loved to cook. As I’ve matured through the seasons of life and find myself in my 50’s and working towards keeping healthy through healthy eating and exercising, I’ve managed to narrow in on some recipes that are my go to for keeping a healthy weight, but mostly feeling good. Will share those here. Admittedly, will also be sharing those that aren’t entirely healthy, but delicious and worth splurging on every now and then.

My cooking style is focused around foods that are mostly easy to make – sometimes slow cooked meals and sometimes quick fixes for nutrient rich meals. I prefer to cook with as few processed ingredients as possible. Sometimes they are easy or necessary, but avoid wherever possible.
